I have a gently used remington 700 .308 and want some tips and ideas on how to make it the baddest big game killing machine.

Shot it alot! lol, figure out what it likes, or hand load what you want it to like, or close to it.  Possible new stock depending on what is on there now, maybe a bedding job. Still, best thing for a good gun is a great shooter, barrel life is nov on a 308 so shoot shoot shoot.
